Observatory Night

Been thinking of buying a telescope for while, so decided to join an astronomy group. Looked through a Dobsonian and Cassegrain. After aligning the "goto", first look was at the moon, all i can say is it was simply amazing, the texture and craters, it was surreal. All the photos taken do Not do it justice, looking at the objects through my eyes are about 10x better.

The next thing i looked at took my breathe away, looking with the naked eye it just looked like another star in the sky, looking through the telescope you could see Saturn and its beautiful rings. Faintly you could see its many moons as well. Again the Pictures are just an reminder of what i saw , not what i actually saw.

 Birthday Night Photo Run 02/05/2013

Fatty and I went to a secret spot near the mountains to take photos of the sky. With her new camera i took 2 photos for her she took none. Quick learner. FishEYE

On the way back we saw the Moon, looked so beautiful we stopped on the side of the road and took some photos of the traffic going by.
